APPRAISALS, OPINIONS AND WILD GUESSES A fun and entertaining “Antiques Roadshow” style event with antiques dealer and auctioneer Steve Gross.  Steve encourages participants to bring 2 or 3 antiques or collectibles for discussion and verbal appraisal.  Steve will also share stories and lessons learned from his years as owner of Depot Town's Depot Exchange Antiques and as owner and lead auctioneer of Premier Auction Services.  Steve’s popular "Talking Antiques" column appeared bi-weekly in the Ann Arbor News.  Nothing for appraisal?  Come anyway for an interesting evening with some good Ypsilanti stories.  Please try to arrive early with items for appraisal.  Doors will open at 6:30. March of the Mutts Pet Parade Come join us in this AWESOME PET PARADE! The parade will be in Depot Town on Saturday, March 20 from 1pm to 3pm! (Registration will be at 12:30 PM and Parade will start at Sidetrack, in Depot Town, and end at Riverside Park.) Tons of FUN for the WHOLE family!  Special Grand Prizes for the: cutest dog best costume ugliest dog, best behaved dog Most Irish dog Dog that looks most like their owner.  Suggested entry fee for the contest is $5/dog, with all proceeds benefiting the HURON VALLEY HUMANE SOCIETY. This years show is two days long!  If you cannot make it on the second, come on down on the third!  The Annual Show & Shine Street Rod Show will rumble into Riverside Park.  Roaring mufflers and classic tunes will rock Depot Town all day long.  Beautifully restored Street Rods of Hot Pink, Lime Green and Lipstick Red will rattle your bones and put a smile on your face.  If you've never seen a flame throwing contest, or a hydraulics exhibition, then pony on down to Depot Town for a famous burger and some sweet cars.

This is one of the largest shows of the summer!  This show features all makes of antiques vehicles that are no longer produced.  Bring your Edsel, Corvair, Hudson or etc. and make a weekend of it.  Make sure to visit the Auto Museum, Fire museum and R & M Classic Cars while you are here.  The show runs all day Sunday and is located ONLY one block from the Sidetrack!

Now in it's 31st year, the Vintage Triumph Register National Convention is going back to it's roots in more ways than one.  The VTR National Convention started as a Weekend get together between what is now the Illinois Sport Owners Association and the Detroit Triumph Sportcar Club.  This get together grew into what was then known as the North American Triumph Challenge.  The North American Triumph Challenge now returns to Southeast Michigan after a 24 year hiatus.

More than, 1000 vintage motorcycles and scooters are expected to roar through Ypsilanti’s Depot Town Saturday, June 26th, for the Inaugural Ton-Up Motorcycle Show and Music Festival.  Celebrating Café Racers, custom motorcycles and scooters of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, as well as period-inspired music and art, this event is expected to attract thousands of enthusiasts from throughout the Midwest.

Thrill to the Navy's Blue Angels Team as they offer spectacular precision flying feats.  Historic planes and related displays are available on site.  Located at the Yankee Air Museum, Willow Run Airport, Ypsilanti, this is truly a family-friendly activity.

The Shadow Art Fair is a juried event that allows local artists to exhibit and sell their works within a comfortable, friendly, and supportive setting.  This one-day, 12–hour event is held two times a year at The Corner Brewery in Ypsilanti, Michigan.  Local music and other special activities add a distinct flavor and sense of community to this creative showcase.  Sidetrack offers 20% OFF your meal to customers who attended the Shadow Art Fair- make sure to get your hand stamped/proof of entry!

All proceeds from this popular event go to SOS. Event starts at Cafe Luwak where you purchase you a chili kit from one of the SOS Community services volunteers, and then sample 10 different chili's from various businesses in the area.  The winner will be announced at the Corner Brewery.  Sidetrack is entering some interesting chilis this year!  Make this a day of fun in Depot Town
